From Nimes Airport:(50 minutes to house) Upon leaving the airport, follow the signs for Centre Ville. However, do not go all the way into Nimes. Just after the football stadium you will go around a roundabout. Follow the signs for Ales. This will put you on the N106 for about 20 minutes and look for signs for Anduze. There will be other towns listed on these signs. Take the Anduze exit off the N106 and follow the round into Anduze. (see directions from Anduze below).

From Montpellier: (1:30 to house) Take the A9 East Motorway to the N113 following signs towards Sommieres and Ales. Follow the N113 to the N110 towards Ales. After Sommieres, stay on the N110 and follow signs for Ales and then Anduze. (see directions from Anduze below)

From Paris: (6 hours to house by car, 3.5 hours to Nimes by train. I would recommend taking the TGV train into Avignon or Nimes.) Take the A6 to Lyon. At Lyon take the A7 towards Avignon. Exit the A7 at Bollene (exit 19) and take the D994 towards Pont-St. Esprit. At Pont-St. Esprit take the N86 towards Bagnols-sur-Ceze. At Bagnols-sur-Ceze take the D6 towards Ales. (see directions from Ales below)

From Avignon: (1:10 to house.) Take the N100 West towards Remoulins. At Remoulins take the D981 through Pont du Gard (a famous Roman acqueduct) to Uzes (a beautiful medieval village). At Uzes, continue on the D981 to Ales. (See directions from Ales below)

From Marseilles: (1:50 to house.) Take the A7 towards Salon-de-Provence. Just before Salon-de-Provence take the A54 towards Nimes. From Nimes take the N106 to Ales. (See directions from Ales below.)

From Ales: (40 minutes to house) Take the D910a towards St-Christol-les-Ales and Anduze. When you reach the roundabout at the bridge at Anduze do not cross the river but remain straight and follow the signs for Mialet. Be careful: when you reach Generagues, there is a sharp left turn to continue towards Mialet. Take this turn. Go through Mialet and continue on the same road for 5 km until you reach a long bridge called "Pont des Abarines." If you arrive at St-Jean-du-Gard you have gone too far. Immediately before the bridge on the right is a private road with a metal gate. You will see "the west mill" on the last mailbox. Enter this gate and follow the road to the first house on the right. This is The West Mill! Park in the driveway to the right of the house.

From Anduze: (25 minutes to house.) Follow the road through the town. Continue to follow the road through Anduze (the road will turns right at the water fountain and left after a block of the restaurants.) Then you will arrive at a large bridge. Turn right and cross the bridge and go 3/4 around the roundabout, then follow the signs for Mialet. (Note: if you did not cross the bridge you would be heading towards St-Jean-du-Gard which will also take you to the house just on the other side of the river.) Be careful: when you reach Generagues, there is a sharp left turn to continue towards Mialet. Take this turn. Go through Mialet and continue on the same road for 5 km until you reach a long bridge called "Pont des Abarines." If you arrive at St-Jean-du-Gard you have gone too far. This is The West Mill! Park in the driveway to the right of the house.

From St-Jean-du-Gard: (10 minutes to house.) Follow the signs to Mialet. About 3 km after St-Jean-du-Gard look for a major bridge (Pont des Abarines). Immediately before the bridge on the right is a private road with a metal gate. You will see "the west mill" on the last mailbox. Enter this gate and follow the road to the first house on the right. This is The West Mill! Park in the driveway to the right of the house.

From Mialet:(10 minutes to house.) Follow the D50 through Mialet and continue towards St.-Jean-du-Gard. About 4km after Mialet look for a major bridge (Pont des Abarines). Immediately before the bridge on the right is a private road with a metal gate. You will see "the west mill" on the last mailbox. Enter this gate and follow the road to the first house on the right. This is The West Mill! Park in the driveway to the right of the house.

If you get confused just ask someone where the bridge "Pont des Abarines" is. It is a very large bridge located between St-Jean-du-Gard and Mialet. On the Mialet side is a large metal gate and 4 mailboxes. The last one says "The West Mill". The house is the first one on the right down this small road. See Google.fr
